Balloon Flights

During your balloon flight, you will get a rare insight into the navigation of a spectacular and historic ship. As hot air balloons always fly in the direction and speed of the wind, you can never really predict where you will fly, what you will see, and where you will land. Will your flight be over city rooftops and traffic, over forests and fields, fjords and lakes – or maybe even over your own house?

No matter where in Sweden you will fly, you will have a breathless experience of the beautiful nature from the balloon bird’s perspective.

As we soar over the landscape with the hot air balloon, you will notice the quiet magic in both body and soul, which is the effect of the balloon flight on everyone who tries it. When we have landed, and you stand sipping the cold champagne in the sunset, melting the impressions of the flight, you just wish in your quiet mind that you can get up and fly again soon!

Yay! It’s finally time for the big flying day – and the weather is perfect. Maybe you’ve had flights canceled due to rain or wind, or maybe you got lucky with the Swedish weather on your first try.

The adventure begins when you arrive at the meeting point and are welcomed by the pilot and crew. Now it’s time for a briefing on what will happen. You will be instructed on how to unpack and set up the balloon and given a thorough safety briefing.

Suddenly you’re on your way in the basket with butterflies in your stomach and the balloon is ready for take-off. As we silently rise into the sky, you’ll be surprised at how peaceful it really is to fly in a hot air balloon, and within minutes we’re high above the city and countryside with a stunning and expansive view of a piece of Sweden. The only thing that disturbs the balloon’s silent floating through the air is the sound of the burner when the air in the balloon envelope is heated.

After about 1 hour of ballooning, the pilot will find a suitable place to land the balloon on the ground. Still with the feeling of the balloon flight in your body, you are now standing in the sunset enjoying an ice-cold glass of bubbly and talking about the day’s experience.

You will notice that the feeling and experience after the balloon flight takes a couple of days to digest and that images and impressions stick in your memory for a long time after the flight itself. You are now an inveterate balloonist!
