Ballooning in Stockholm and surroundings
DreamBalloon flies regularly over Stockholm.
A flight with DreamBalloon can take you over treetops and rooftops in Stockholm’s inner city, Danderyd, Djursholm, Lidingö, Huddinge, Ekerö, Södertälje, Kungsängen, Solna and everything in between. In addition, we often indulge in seeing some of the archipelago’s islands, Stockholm’s pinnacles and towers and much much more.
Ballooning in the Stockholm area is always a great experience. We normally fly over both villages/towns and countryside. Wind direction and wind speed determine where we take off and where we land. Sometimes it will be more city and less countryside and sometimes the other way around. What everyone who flies with us agrees on is that it is the journey itself that is remembered, not exactly what you flew over.
With 25 years of experience in ballooning, we can say one thing for sure: whichever area you choose, the flight will be a memory for life. We look forward to experiencing our beautiful landscape from above with you!
DreamBalloon offers experiences in the form of balloon flights over large parts of Sweden. When you buy a ticket with us, you can choose which area you want to fly over. If the weather permits, we start in this area, otherwise at a nearby location. This guarantees you a flight on the booked day and avoids the need for a rebooking.

Hot air balloon flights take place either in the hours before sunset or the hours after sunrise. During the flying season, meeting and flight times will therefore vary as they follow the timing of sunrise and sunset.
We are in the air for approximately one hour, depending on wind and weather conditions, as well as the availability of suitable landing sites, etc. However, you should allow at least four hours for the entire experience.
Hot air balloons cannot be steered. They follow the direction of the wind, and you never know exactly where you will land. After about 50 minutes, the pilot will start looking for a good landing spot.
The chase vehicle follows the balloon from the ground and aims to arrive at the landing site shortly after the balloon has landed.
We fly in many areas and you choose which flight area you want to fly in when you book your flight. In Skåne, we fly from Helsingborg, Lund, Malmö or Sjöbo. In Västra Götaland, you can choose between Gothenburg, Varberg, Uddevalla and Skaraborg, among others. Or why not try a magnificent flight over Stockholm?
