Terms of purchase and delivery

DREAMBALLOON ApS’s TERMS OF PURCHASE AND DELIVERY

The following terms and conditions of purchase and delivery apply to the purchase of tickets and gift certificates for ballooning on www.dreamballoon.se. The right of withdrawal only applies to private customers who shop via www.dreamballoon.se. Companies have no right of withdrawal.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

To fly a balloon with DreamBalloon ApS, you must be in good general health. There is no upper age limit for ballooning, as long as you can stand up in the balloon basket during flight (approx. 60 min) and can hold on properly during a landing.

For security reasons, we are unable to offer flights to guests who

On the day of the flight is pregnant and passed 12 weeks
Is a child shorter than 130 cm tall
Is in a wheelchair
Is intoxicated or appears under the influence
Has epilepsy

WEIGHT

If you weigh more than 110 kg, please let us know so that we can distribute your weight correctly in the basket. If you weigh more than 130 kg, you may need to buy an additional ticket, as space in the balloon basket is limited. Please contact DreamBalloon, if this is the case, to discuss this.

BUY

On DreamBalloon.se you can buy your balloon ticket. Once you have purchased and paid for your balloon flight, you will immediately receive a receipt and your flight ticket(s) by email. To book your flight day, click on www.legacy.dreamballoon.se/booking and follow the instructions. The booking is open between March 15 – October 1.

PRICES

Prices are quoted in Swedish kronor and include a balloon flight for 1 person for approximately 1 hour and a champagne picnic. The whole adventure takes about 4 – 5 hours.

PAYMENT

At www.dreamballoon.se you can pay by VISA and MASTERCARD. When paying by credit card, a fee may apply according to the applicable rules. When you pay by payment card, you are always safe from fraud. You always have the option of not authorizing the payment when you receive your payment summary. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) in our payment system, which makes your payment secure. Data that you send to us in connection with your purchase is encrypted (SSL). Neither DreamBalloon ApS nor others are able to read your information. There can never be a larger amount deducted than what you have approved at the time of purchase.

DELIVERY OF THE TICKET

The ticket will be sent to the email address you provided at the time of purchase (make sure it is correct). In the email you will receive the order number, booking codes and the balloon ticket

VALIDITY AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The balloon ticket is valid for 2 years from the date of issue. The right of withdrawal is valid for 14 days from the day you bought the ticket. If the right of withdrawal expires on a public holiday, the right of withdrawal is extended to the next working day. You withdraw by notifying us that you are withdrawing. You send an email to info@legacy.dreamballoon.se and write there that you regret your decision. The right of withdrawal does not apply to gift boxes and associated postage. These costs will be deducted from the return money. If you have booked a flight day in our booking system, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. This also applies if the booked flight is canceled due to bad weather.

RESERVATIONS

We reserve the right to make changes to fees, printing errors and price changes that may affect the content of these rules.

BOOKING OF A FLIGHT DAY

We have made it as flexible and easy as possible for you to book your flight day. The first time you want to book a flight day, click on www.dreamballoon.se/bokning and follow the instructions there.

FLIGHT CANCELLATION AND RE-ROUTING

As you know, the weather in Sweden is not always good for ballooning. If it blows more than 4-5 m/s or there is a risk of rain, fog or thunder, we will cancel the flight. This is for your safety. In case of cancellation, we will “free” your booking number so that you can book a new flight day at www.dreamballoon.se/bokning

BEFORE THE FLIGHT

Pay attention to that:

Smoking is not allowed on the launch site and within 15 meters of the balloon basket.
It is not allowed to stand near the fans when they are filling the balloon with air.
Pay close attention to the crew safety briefing and follow their instructions.

BEFORE LANDING

Landing a hot air balloon is one of the most fun parts of flying. The safety briefing includes a thorough instruction on the landing. Always follow the pilot’s instructions on the landing position. Pay attention to that:

Put the camera and other items away when the pilot announces ready for landing. The camera should either be in a closed bag or inside your jacket, so that it is not hanging freely and so that you can keep your hands free to hold the basket firmly during landing.
The pilot will ask you to assume the landing position. You should then turn your back to the direction of flight, bend your knees slightly and lean your back against the side of the basket. Do not try to look over your shoulder and hold the handles of the basket firmly until the balloon has come to a complete stop.
Stay in the balloon basket until the pilot has given permission for you to leave it.

In addition, be aware that the balloon often lands on private land without any prior permission from the landowner. This can create situations we cannot plan and control in advance. The pilot and crew are used to dealing with these situations.

FLIGHT REGION AND AREA

Please note that we always aim to fly in the area you have selected in your booking. However, it may happen that weather conditions do not allow us to fly over the exact area, but in a nearby one. If the flight can be carried out in another area nearby, we will fly from there instead. This way you are secured a flight on the chosen day, instead of us canceling.

DURATION

Ballooning takes place in a dynamic meteorological space. This means that the weather can change immediately before and during the balloon flight. This can change the flight planning and the conditions of the flight. We always try to fly for more than 50 minutes and usually longer, but if we are forced to land earlier for safety reasons, we consider the flight completed if it lasted more than 40 minutes.

CANCELLATION AND REBOOKING

The weather in Sweden can be unpredictable, so there is a risk that the flight on your booked day will not be possible. In these cases, you will receive a text message and an email by 15:00 on the same day informing you that the flight has been canceled and describing how you can book another flight.

We emphasize that a reservation is binding. Once you have booked a balloon flight, as a general rule, it cannot be canceled or changed. In case of emergency, please contact our customer service for guidance. If you do not show up for an agreed flight, the ticket is considered used and cannot be used again.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

All passengers are insured through DreamBalloon’s passenger insurance, according to the requirements of the Swedish Transport Agency. You are responsible for any personal belongings you bring, including cell phone, camera, binoculars and clothing.

CLOTHING

You are advised to dress sensibly, with long pants, a long-sleeved shirt and sturdy shoes, as we usually land out in nature and may have to walk a bit to get to the road. Also bring a hat or cap and preferably a bottle of water if it is a hot day.

TRANSPORTATION BACK AFTER THE FLIGHT

A hot air balloon never lands in the same place it takes off from. Therefore, it is important that you arrange transportation back from the landing site. It is ideal to bring a family member or friend to drive after the balloon. It is beautiful and exciting even for those who are not allowed to fly. You can take many great pictures from the ground and you get to share the adventure with the person flying. If you do not have someone who can drive after, we are happy to call a taxi for you. You pay the taxi back. Let us know at the meeting if you need us to call a taxi for you. We normally come 10- 30 km on a balloon ride.

Cookies can be compared to small footprints. A special file, called a cookie, is saved on your computer when you access a particular website. The cookie consists of a small amount of data containing information about what you do when you visit the site. The information about your previous visits is sent by the web server to your browser and can then be retrieved from there

There are two types of cookies. One type saves a file on your computer for a longer period of time and is used, for example, to tell you as a visitor what is new on the site since you last visited it. Once the expiry date has passed, the cookie is automatically deleted when you return to the website that created it. The second type of cookies are called session cookies and are temporarily stored in your computer’s memory, for example to keep track of the language you have chosen. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser.

Cookies are not dangerous. Cookies are ordinary text files and cannot contain viruses. The files are small and only a certain amount of cookies can be stored in memory. So there is no risk of the memory becoming full just because you allow cookies.

LOGSTATISTICS

Log statistics are used on legacy.dreamballoon.se and means that a statistics system collects information about how many people have visited our site, where you have clicked, etc… We use log statistics to optimize our website and make it more user-friendly.

YOUR PERSONAL DATA

When you order a balloon ticket from us, we need to know the following personal details: name, address, phone number and email. The only reason for this is so that we can send you the balloon ticket and information. The personal data is only registered with us at legacy.dreamballoon.se and is kept there for 5 years (due to the Accounting Act). After that, your data will be deleted. You must always accept that we collect your information before you make a purchase. For your sake and ours.
